Like many, we ran life’s marathon juggling multiple roles of a career woman, a super mom, simultaneously wishing we could be what we wanted to be. As we paused this run for the proverbial sip of water, the world changed dramatically for us. We found ourselves meeting women from different walks of life, life stages, career stages, race, and generations, all of them deeply desiring to make choices on who they really wanted to be. We wondered what stopped from just doing that?

Using our research tool VoiceNOW, we set out to ask women their views and opinions on various aspects of their lives. It threw up with startling clarity what we had suspected all along. Women were constantly battling three fronts: herself, her home, and her workplace. We found her often doubting her own capability to meet the demands of a career or navigating through a web of tradition and expectations of her role in her family and dealing with a set of conflicting (sometimes intense) emotions within herself. Moreover, each woman we met felt she was alone, and that her problems were strangely unique. Instantly we knew what we had to do. That was when LeadNOW was born.
